About this role
Experience GS-09: You qualify for the GS-09 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Participating in analyzing the effects of changes in law and regulations as they pertain to management services. Assisting with identifying ways to improve or enhance current services and to ensure that such services meet management's business objectives.
Helping to determine the most effective and efficient approach to meet customer requirements. Assessing situations that are complicated by conflicting and/or incomplete data, requiring general problem solving to isolate issues. Defining issues or problems in terms that are compatible with appropriate laws, policies, or regulations. Experience GS-11: You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Interpreting a wide variety of laws, rules, regulations, and procedures concerning mission support activities/services.
Analyzing and resolving problems in the effectiveness and efficiency of administrative support activities. Identify needs of the agency and coordinate with vendors to provide needed materials/services. Identifying and clarifying problems and order to propose recommendations and reconciling conflicting incomplete information. Using judgment, initiative, and resourcefulness in order to modify, adapt, and/or refine broader guidelines to resolve specific, complex and/or intricate issues and problems.

Education Substitution GS-09: SSuccessful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study. If that information cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours should be considered as satisfying the 1 year of full-time study requirement. Education Substitution GS-11: Successful Completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.
