Mid Software Engineer - AI (f/m/div.)
About this role
We are looking for a GenAI Agent Engineer — Software Engineering Automation to design, implement, and deploy AI agents that support software development workflows. Based on use cases collected by the GenAI Enablement Specialist, you will build GenAI pipelines that interact with codebases, documentation, requirements, ticket systems, and CI/CD data. You will collaborate with software developers, DevOps engineers, and platform/tooling teams to ensure AI agents integrate effectively into daily workflows and deliver reliable and compliant assistance.
Your contribution to something big: Design and implement AI agents that support coding, documentation, testing, debugging, knowledge retrieval, requirements reasoning, and other developer tasks. Build AI pipelines that combine LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, and software engineering datasets. Integrate GenAI agents with developer tools (IDEs, Git repos, CI/CD, ticketing systems, documentation hubs). Implement RAG pipelines for software knowledge (source code, design docs, API references, test results, requirements).
Develop APIs, plugins, and automation scripts for workflow integration. Evaluate agent performance, correctness, reliability, and usability. Document agent architectures, pipeline designs, and integration patterns. Collaborate with platform security and compliance functions to ensure safe deployment What distinguishes you: Education: • MSc or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
