Microsoft AI Platform Consultant
About this role
As a Microsoft AI Platform Consultant, you will help leading organizations turn the promise of AI into real business value. Working with the latest Microsoft technologies, you will design, build, and deliver intelligent solutions such as Copilots, AI agents, enterprise knowledge platforms, and innovative proof-of-concepts. Beyond AI solutions, you will help clients establish the modern data foundations that power enterprise-scale AI, leveraging technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and advanced data engineering platforms.
You will work directly with clients to understand their challenges, translate business objectives into practical technology solutions, and contribute across the full project lifecycle, from strategy and solution design to implementation, testing, and deployment. Alongside a diverse team of Microsoft, AI, cloud, data, and security experts, you will continuously expand your technical and consulting skills while building the foundation for a future role as a Senior Consultant, Architect, or Technical Lead.
AI depends on the quality of the platform and data behind it. You will help clients build and improve the foundations required for enterprise AI, including: Microsoft Fabric and Azure data services Data engineering pipelines and integrations Lakehouse and enterprise data platform components Data models and data products Data governance and AI-ready data foundations with, for example, Microsoft Purview Enterprise knowledge and intelligence layers in Microsoft IQ You will help design, develop and test AI-enabled solutions using Microsoft technologies.
Depending on the project, this may include: Copilots and conversational experiences AI agents and agentic workflows Enterprise knowledge solutions Prototypes, demonstrations and minimum viable products You are not expected to know all of these technologies when you join. Your project assignments and development interests will determine where you build depth. A completed university Master's degree, preferably in information systems, computer science, software engineering, data science, or a related field.
Analytical and problem-solving skills. Basic understanding of cloud platforms, software development, data platforms or integration. Interest in Microsoft technologies and the broader Microsoft ecosystem. The ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary and diverse teams. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Excellent written and spoken English is required. Dutch is strongly preferred because many client conversations, workshops and project activities in certain industries/sectors take place in Dutch.
