This is what we call the Veracyte way – it’s about how we work together, guided by our values, to give clinicians the insights they need to help patients make life-changing decisions.
Our Values: We Seek A Better Way : We pursue bold ideas, embrace complexity, and keep pushing forward. We Make It Happen : We act with urgency, deliver with excellence, and always find a way. We Are Stronger Together : We engage with empathy, align around what's best for Veracyte, and celebrate as one team. We Care Deeply : We show up with integrity, kindness, and respect for one another. The Position: A Medical Science Liaison (MSL) at Veracyte is a genomic and disease state expert who provides clinical and product education to external Health Care Providers (HCP) to drive understanding and adoption of the company’s molecular test for breast cancer.
They are recognized experts and trusted partners, serving as the primary scientific and clinical resource to external and internal stakeholders. MSLs support the development of multi-channel educational activities and tools throughout the product lifecycle, such as speaker programs, educational materials, conference coverage, and online educational events. An essential responsibility for this position will be to stimulate investigator-initiated studies utilizing Veracyte’s Prosigna Breast Cancer test and work closely with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) through study completion.
The MSL is a field-based member of the medical affairs department, working closely with sales and marketing team members. This is a full-time position with approximately 80% of time devoted to HCPs-facing activities (in-person or virtually), partly at the request of the sales team and partly by proactively reaching out to KOLs. MSLs will spend 20% of their time on internal collaborations across marketing, sales, and medical affairs departments.
