About this role

At Peak 21 , we acquire and operate high-performing direct-to-consumer brands across the US, Europe, and beyond. Our portfolio generates over $200M in sales — bootstrapped, profitable, and built for the long term. We don't just buy brands; we scale them. We're looking for a Media Buyer to join one of our portfolio brands: a beloved D2C baby essentials brand with strong recognition across the US and Europe, currently doing $24M in revenue last year (roughly 50% Shopify/DTC, balance wholesale + Amazon) and growing fast.

The Opportunity: $24M → $75M in 4 Years This is not a maintenance role. We want to double the Shopify channel year-over-year while driving the overall business to $75M revenue by Year 4. We're scaling paid channels aggressively (Meta, Google, TikTok) and we need someone who can move fast, thinks in systems, and knows what it takes to spend efficiently at scale for a D2C brand. Paid media is the engine of this brand's DTC growth.

. You'll have real ownership over a meaningful paid budget, work directly with a creative team producing scroll-stopping content, and be a core part of the growth engine driving us from $24M to $75M. The person who owns it well will naturally grow into owning more: strategy, creative direction, offers, the funnel end-to-end. If you're a media buyer who wants to go beyond the ads manager and understand how category-defining D2C brands are actually built, this is for you. What You'll Do Be the PPC master — own, execute and scale paid media campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, and emerging channels profitably from launch through optimisation. Be the creative strategist savant — lead concepting, briefing, and iteration on thumb-stopping ads and variations.

You understand what stops the scroll and converts, and you can articulate that clearly to a creative team. Run structured experimentation: creative tests, offer tests, audience tests, landing page tests — and double down on what works. Own the numbers: ROAS, CAC, LTV, conversion rate, AOV, contribution margin. You turn data into clear stories and decisions. Collaborate cross-functionally with ops, creative production, email/SMS, and wholesale teams while maintaining full ownership of paid media performance.

Stay sharp on platform changes, algorithm shifts, and emerging trends — and bring those learnings to the team proactively. Who You Are 3+ years of paid, hands-on experience in growth/performance marketing or e-commerce for D2C brands. We will make exceptions for people without the exact years if you have proven results running ads, landing pages, and offers at a high level. AI native - you use AI as a daily force multiplier — generating and editing creative, drafting and iterating copy, spinning up landing pages, automating reporting and workflows.

You are a doer not a delegator. A creative strategist + PPC master. You don’t just “manage ads” — you craft strategy and creative that moves the needle dramatically. You can brief a great ad, give useful feedback, and spot a winning angle before the data confirms it. You love the game: the strategy, the creativity, the data, the psychology, the wins, and the lessons from the losses. Obsessed with profitable growth and the full customer journey.

You think in systems and loops, not just campaigns. Low ego, high output, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity and ownership. Excellent at articulating ideas, learnings, and results — both in writing and verbally. This role is fully remote. You'll collaborate cross-timezones, so some flexibility to overlap with those hours is appreciated. Bonus Points (not required) Experience scaling a brand through the $5M–$30M+ range.

Shopify and Klaviyo experience. Familiarity with the parent/baby category. You've run your own paid campaigns for a side project or personal brand. We take applications seriously and read everything. Generic applications get ignored. If you have a portfolio, ad examples, landing pages you’ve built, or case studies — please share links or attachments. We want to see your work. We’re looking for people who love the game and can think and communicate at a high level.
