Marketing Field Ops Manager (all genders)
About this role
STARK is a new kind of defence technology company revolutionizing the way autonomous systems are deployed across multiple domains. We design, develop and manufacture high performance unmanned systems that are software-defined, mass-scalable, and cost effective. This provides our operators with a decisive edge in highly contested environments. We’re focused on delivering deployable, high-performance systems - not future promises.
In a time of rising threats, STARK is bolstering the technological edge of NATO Allies and their Partners to deter aggression and defend Europe - today. You will be reporting to the Head of Brand. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Markting Field Ops Manager to support our growing communications team. Based in Berlin or Munich. You have several years of project management behind you: campaigns, events or complex programs in Run campaigns and event activations end to end: timelines, budgets, coordination across design, content, events, digital and logistics.
Enforce a data-driven discipline: every activation has a brief, an owner, a budget and a debrief. Manage placements and presence: defence media, digital, on site and always inside the brand system. Coordinate live hardware demonstrations, including the regulatory side of moving defence equipment. Support recruiting campaigns and employer branding campaigns as the company grows. You have several years of project management behind you: campaigns, events or complex programs in demanding environments.
You are organised, calm under deadline pressure and strict with budgets. You have worked in or near regulated industries: defence, aerospace, automotive, government. You are drawn to the new generation of defence technology: tech- & software-defined, AI-driven, fast, not to the way it has always been done. You have delivered work where design quality was non-negotiable, and you carried that standard rather than fought it.
You work from written briefs and don't wait for meetings to act. This is not for you if You need someone to tell you the next step. You have creative ambitions, the creative work is done by the design team, and you'll respect that. You think logistics is beneath marketing. Here, it is marketing.
