How you’ll make a difference The Manager, Strategy & Business Planning formulates, leads, and achieves impact of strategy approaches supporting future organization direction and strategies. Drives growth by developing and implementing strategies to deliver “break-through” business models and innovation within our core offerings. Partners extensively with regions and central functions to drive business growth, planning and alignment while delivering competitive and market intelligence insights.
In addition to common responsibilities identified below, individual roles will focus on Business Planning, Regional Support, and Competitive and Market Intelligence programs to drive growth and impact. This role may also support and/or lead corporate development (e.g., M&A, JV, Strategic partnerships) activities as needed. What you’ll bring to the role Bachelor’s degree related in finance, accounting, or other highly quantitative discipline or field(s) related to responsibilities.
MBA or equivalent experience desired. Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a strategic role (corporate strategy, corporate finance, consulting, investment banking), with demonstrated experience in driving identification and understanding of key market information to support strategy design, business planning, and decision-making. Experience with international business development; working with global teams. Deep experience developing and designing implementation plans to drive execution.
Experience in dealing with sensitive, confidential materials and respect for same, with ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive organization topics and issues. International experience with sensitivity to cultural differences is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to identify and define business questions and issues, and develop strategic, analytical and financial frameworks to conduct analysis. Creative, out-of-the-box thinker who is intellectually curious with a demonstrated interest in continued learning.
Expertise with an array of analytical methods in strategic analysis, market research, and financial modeling. Demonstrated strategy development and corresponding business results. Ability to balance other business considerations. Success in balancing service orientation with need for assertive or persuasive approach. Strong leadership skills, including sound business judgement in assessing and prioritizing competing priorities, as well as demonstrated positive relationship building across diverse cultures and backgrounds.
