Management and Program Analyst

To be creditable, you must possess one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade in the Federal service: For this position, the next lower grade level is a GS-14. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience in operational research and decision support for financial management programs and operations to advise senior leadership on organizational performance, program effectiveness, human capital management, and sound fiscal operations.

Experience implementing project management principles and practices for large multidisciplinary and cross-functional projects to develop long-range strategic plans, improve processes, update policies and processes, and enhancing operations. Experience in data management, data wrangling, and data analytics to convey insights through information/issue papers, briefings, data visualizations, and/or other analytical products to support senior leadership in making informed decisions.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
