You qualify for the GS-09 grade level if you possess one of the following: Experience: One (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-07 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Providing entry-level assistance to staff on program evaluation and management practices, contributing to the development of standard operating procedures and supporting the implementation of new processes. Monitoring emerging trends and developments in program management and evaluation under close supervision to ensure the agency remains responsive to changing priorities and challenges.

Applying basic qualitative and quantitative methods under close supervision to gather and organize data, identify trends, and prepare preliminary recommendations for improving program efficiency and effectiveness. Assisting in the review of new or modified legislation for projected impact on agency programs and resources and supporting initiatives to address management challenges. Contributing to program evaluation efforts by assisting in identifying performance indicators, gathering data, and applying basic statistical techniques to support evaluations of program outcomes.

OR Education: A master's (or equivalent graduate degree such as a L.L.B/J.D.) or 2 academic years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of successfully completed education and experience. This will be calculated using your resume and unofficial transcripts or a list of courses/course hours submitted with your application.
