GS-11 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-9 grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience for this position includes Preparing evaluations for a segment or phase of a broader project or study. Using established analytical techniques to gather, assemble, and analyze facts, draw conclusions, and devise alternatives.
Preparing draft reports, guidance, correspondence or other written materials. Recommending changes to methods, processes or procedures to improve program or administrative operations. Reviewing policies, procedures, guidance or other program documentation such as the Internal Revenue Manual (IRM) and Internal Management Document (IMD) for accuracy and compliance. Providing findings or recommendations based on analysis of program or operational information.
OR you may substitute education for specialized experience as follows: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a related field of study at an accredited college or university. OR Three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree in a related field of study. OR LL.M., if related. OR You may qualify by a combination of experience and education. AND You must also meet the following requirement(s): TIME AFTER COMPETITIVE APPOINTMENT (TACA): By the closing date (or if this is an open continuous announcement, by the cut-off date) specified in this job announcement, current civilian employees must have completed at least 90 days of federal civilian service since their latest non-temporary appointment from a competitive referral certificate, known as time after competitive appointment.
