SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-12: You must have 1 year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to assess program operations, identify trends, issues, and operational risks, and develop recommendations that improve program effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Planning, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating projects, studies or program initiatives by establishing priorities, milestones, performance measures, and tracking progress toward organizational objectives. Gathering, analyzing and interpreting information to identify problems, evaluate alternatives and develop supportable findings and recommendations for management. Evaluating the operational impact of proposed initiatives, process improvements, or implementation plans including consideration of customer, employee and stakeholders needs.
Preparing reports, briefing materials and other supportive documents that communicate analytical findings, risks, impacts and recommendations to management and stakeholders. Collaborating with managers and subject matter experts, and stakeholders to gather information, clarify requirements, resolve issues and support process improvements. Communicating analytical findings and recommendations both verbally and in writing to facilitate discussions with management and stakeholders to support management decisions.
