Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Maintaining civilian and military manpower requirements in enterprise Human Resources systems to ensure accurate personnel and position data; 2) Analyze manpower documents for compliance with current policies and regulatory guidance; 3) Provide technical recommendations on manpower adjustments and organizational staffing documents, including unit-level requirements and installation-level authorizations; 4) Apply manpower database expertise to review, update, and manage manpower records effectively.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
