Maintenance Worker

About this role

Who May Apply: US Citizens Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. There is no specific length of training or experience required.

However, you must be able to demonstrate, through experience shown in your written application materials that you possess the sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the work of this position without more than normal supervision. Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element) WG-05: Ability to do the work of a Maintenance Worker ~ without more than normal supervision. I have experience performing common maintenance and repair tasks on mechanical equipment, utility systems, buildings, and/or other appurtenant structures and property under the normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level maintenance worker who observes tasks in progress and upon completion makes sure they are properly performed.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element) WG-07: Ability to do the work of a Maintenance Worker ~ without more than normal supervision. I have performed common maintenance and repair tasks on mechanical equipment, utility systems, buildings, and/or other appurtenant structures and property under the normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level maintenance worker.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element) WG-08: Ability to do the work of a Maintenance Worker ~ without more than normal supervision. I have experience as a maintenance worker performing common dam operation, maintenance inspection and repair work on a continuing basis on mechanical equipment, utility systems, buildings, and/or other appurtenant structures and property at park and flood control dam facilities under the normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level maintenance worker who observes tasks in progress to ensure they are properly performed.
