Machine Operator
About this role
The Machine Operator follows production and process specifications or instructions and monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, computer systems, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. This individual tends manual, automatic, or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production operation and performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Follow production and process specifications or instructions to ensure adherence to product requirements. Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, and computer systems to maintain strict process control. Tend manual, automatic, or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous processing operation. Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures, rules, and 5S standards.
Participate in training and development programs, including EHS, SOP, and Magma training. High School Diploma or equivalent required. 0-2 year’s previous experience. Mathematical aptitude, mechanical/technical aptitude, and logical problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently in a safe and timely manner.
