Job Description: Logistics Specialist (Saudi Arabia) Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Specialist with 5+ years of experience to manage our regional supply chain operations in Saudi Arabia. This role requires deep expertise in Saudi customs, seaport operations, and land borders. You will operate within a matrix environment and travel across the Middle East. Key Responsibilities Customs & Import Operations Manage end-to-end import processes in compliance with Saudi local laws and regulations.
Oversee complex seaport operations and clear freight through land border customs smoothly. Apply precise Incoterms 2020 rules to minimize corporate risk and optimize shipping costs. Resolve customs delays, duty disputes, and documentation discrepancies with authorities. Cross-Functional Collaboration Navigate a matrix organization to align logistics with sales, procurement, and legal teams. Maintain accurate tracking dashboards to provide shipment visibility to regional stakeholders.
Ensure all regional operations strictly adhere to international trade compliance policies. Regional Mobility Travel across the region up to 20% to audit vendors and resolve operational bottlenecks. Build strong relationships with local freight forwarders, customs brokers, and port authorities. Required Qualifications Experience & Education Experience : Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in logistics and international trade.
