About this role
Main expectations of the post holder are: To effectively manage day to day issues on the line / area to ensure optimum operational performance To understand and interpret results, and take action to improve performance To control the cost of manufacture by operating to the agreed standards of labour utilisation, material utilisation, machine performance and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) Member of middle management within the Production/Operations function, managing a production line or area in accordance with the line schedule and allocated employees Key interactions with all site functions (incl.
H &S, Technical, Hygiene, Engineering, HR/L & D and any other support services) to ensure that Production is run safely, efficiently and effectively and to minimise downtime / waste IOSH Managing Safely (training will be provided) CIEH Level 3 Food Safety for food management (training will be provided) 12 months experience of people management is desirable 12 months experience of working in a production environment is desirable By submitting an application for this position, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy - 2SFG .
