About the assignment At OpenUp we focus on preventive care, which means we don't do diagnosis, but we help people stay healthy, vital, and energetic before challenges arise. As a freelance doctor on this assignment, you will support our users with their health and well-being on-site.
You interpret findings, and translate them into clear, science-backed, and motivating advice. Your focus is always forward-looking: what can this person do today to feel better, stay healthy, and remain sustainably employable? You make health tangible and actionable, in a warm and approachable way. You work closely with our internal team and contribute your medical expertise to a fast-growing, mission-driven organization that's raising the bar on accessible, preventive care.
About you You're a medical doctor (MD) who's passionate about making a difference and about helping people take ownership of their health. You enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute in assignment base to a meaningful mission. We welcome experts who meet the following criteria: A medical degree and registration as a physician (BIG registration) Experience conducting preventive medical examinations, occupational health assessments, or similar onsite consultations Interest in or experience with lifestyle medicine, preventive care, vitality, and a healthy-lifestyle approach rather than diagnosis and treatment Strong Dutch and English communication skills (written and spoken) Comfortable traveling to and working onsite at client locations Entrepreneurial, proactive, and open to continuous learning A team player who thrives independently and takes ownership of personal and professional growth A natural connector: you create a safe, supportive space and act decisively to help people move forward You live the "practice what you preach" mindset, showing integrity and reflection in how you approach both clients and colleagues Freelance experience is a plus, as we value self-starters who are confident in managing their own practice.
