Remote
Licensing Analyst
About this role
About the role The Licensing Analyst supports the end-to-end licensing lifecycle for our claims adjusters — applications, renewals, continuing education, and compliance recordkeeping — across all states in which Reserv operates. This is an entry-level role: we don't require prior insurance licensing experience, but candidates who've already spent time in NIPR, Sircon, or a similar licensing platform will ramp faster and are strongly preferred.
You'll start by owning core production work — data entry, application prep, renewal tracking, CE monitoring — under the guidance of the Licensing Manager, and grow into handling more complex applications, state-specific research, and direct communication with state departments of insurance as you build proficiency. The role rewards someone who is meticulous with detail, comfortable navigating multiple online portals, and motivated to build real expertise in a highly regulated function.
What you'll do License Applications Prepare, organize, and submit initial adjuster license applications across required states and jurisdictions. Gather and verify supporting documentation (background checks, fingerprinting, affidavits, etc.) and enter applicant data across state DOI portals and internal systems. Track application status, follow up with state departments of insurance, and escalate delays or issues appropriately.
Maintain accurate, organized records of all submitted applications and approvals. License Renewals Monitor renewal deadlines for all active adjuster licenses and flag upcoming renewals within established timelines. Prepare and submit renewal applications ahead of expiration dates, and gather required supporting documents. Update the licensing database to reflect current renewal statuses and communicate renewal reminders to adjusters and internal stakeholders.
Coordinate payment of renewal fees and track associated costs. Continuing Education (CE) Monitoring Track CE requirements by state — credit hours, course types, and deadlines — and log individual adjuster completion status. Cross-reference CE records against state requirements to identify and flag gaps before renewal submission. Research approved CE course options by state and communicate them clearly to adjusters. Maintain organized CE documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
