Legal Trainee RO
About this role
As a Legal Trainee, you will take part in a 12-month learning journey, with the aim of becoming familiar with JDE Peet’s business processes from the Legal & Compliance department perspective. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, multinational environment, working closely with senior legal professionals and cross-functional teams. You will support legal operations across multiple jurisdictions within CEE region, including Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Baltics.
You have the opportunity to rotate through Corporate Affairs as well, gaining one-of-a-kind combined knowledge that is very valuable and rare on the market. Develop an in-depth understanding of in-house lawyer activities and processes, together with hands-on business acumen. Benefit from continuous on-the-job experience and input. For this role as a Legal Trainee we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience: Law graduate or final-year law student with approximately 1–2 years of relevant professional experience, including internships or traineeships.
Excellent English proficiency, both written and spoken. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to synthesize information and identify key insights. Comfortable using MS Office and eager to learn new systems and tools. Proactive, practical, and business-oriented mindset, with a can-do attitude and willingness to move tasks forward even when not all information is immediately available. Comfortable working in a multicultural, cross-border environment and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
