The Legal Counsel (f/m/x) will play a crucial role as an enabler to tackle new business opportunities, in ensuring legal compliance and mitigating legal and regulatory risks associated with the dynamic e-commerce landscape and our marketplace platform operations across Europe’s refurbished industries.
This position requires a legal professional with a broad and varied portfolio — from contracts and data protection to regulatory compliance and dispute resolution — and work closely with teams across the company to keep us moving fast while staying on the right side of the law, enabling us to navigate complex legal challenges while supporting the company's growth objectives. WHO YOU ARE: 3+ years of work experience in an in-house legal department of a company or in a law firm Strong understanding of data privacy law, and experience in e-commerce, platform and technology regulations.
Knowledge of Austrian corporate law is a plus. A solid generalist background with broad experience across commercial law, compliance, and regulatory topics is a must. Strongly motivated to tackle legal projects in other domains relevant to refurbed ’s business where necessary Excellent communication skills in English and German, both verbal and written. Additional language skills (e.g., in Italian) are a plus. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate legal risks and develop proactive solutions to mitigate them.
