Legal Counsel

About this role

WeMatch is looking for a Legal Counsel for our client, an international AdTech company. In this role, you’ll make sure the company’s legal operations run in an organized, compliant and efficient way: from contracts and documentation to partner checks and risk monitoring. You’ll work closely with operations, finance and top management, acting as the go-to person for everything legal across the business. What you’ll do: - Organize and manage legal document flow across the company - Run KYC/AML and compliance checks on counterparties and partners - Prepare, review and coordinate commercial, service and partnership agreements for signing - Develop and update legal and operational documents: Insertion Orders (IO), Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and internal policies - Support operations, finance and other teams on business processes from a legal and compliance perspective - Monitor legal risks and ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations - Report regularly to top management on legal processes, document status and potential risks What success looks like: - A clear, well-structured legal document management system - Contracts and legal documents completed and executed on time - KYC/AML checks done thoroughly, with legal and reputational risks minimized - Policies and templates that stay up to date with the business and regulations - Smooth cooperation between legal, operations and finance - Transparent reporting that gives management full visibility of legal risks What we’re looking for: - 5+ years of legal experience in international projects (IT, marketing, AdTech, MarTech, affiliate or SaaS) - Strong B2B contract practice and confidence negotiating in English - Experience working with vendors and providers across different countries (EU, Hong Kong or US exposure is a significant plus) - Working knowledge of privacy and advertising compliance: GDPR/ePrivacy, cookies, data sharing, platform policies - Experience building and systematizing legal processes from scratch - Experience with multi-entity structures across jurisdictions, including intercompany arrangements and mapping of financial flows between entities What the company offers: - Fully remote work - A chance to join at an early stage, build internal processes and grow into a leadership role - A transparent, collaborative team culture - A comprehensive benefits package If you’re the kind of lawyer who likes structure, ownership and real impact on the business, we’d love to hear from you.
