Lead Security Officer

About this role

Responsibilities You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes: Ensure all personnel under your supervision have completed the appropriate site training and hold a valid SIA licence or LDN to meet industry requirements Monitor and manage the appearance and behaviour of all security personnel, taking remedial action in line with the company policy and procedures Report all incidents in compliance with customer and company policy and procedures Assist the Security Management Team in developing and sharing best practices and using systems and tool to improve service effectiveness Be fully conversant with operational functions including Access Control, CCTV Detection, and Alarm Systems, ensuring effective monitoring and reporting Assist the Site Manager with any reasonable or practical request Monitor faults with security related equipment, ensuring they are reported correctly Please note - The responsibilities listed here aren’t the full picture—but they give you a good sense of the role.

Ideally, you’ll have: A valid SIA licence Flexibility to work nights and weekends Previous supervisory experience within a corporate banking environment is essential Must be able to present a clear and complete 5-year work and/or education history, with supporting explanations for any gaps in employment Adaptable and responsive to changes in priorities, plans and schedules Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken Why Join Securitas?
