Lead Product Designer
About this role
Waracle are looking for a Lead Product Designer for an exciting new role joining our world-class digital technology consultancy and home to a diverse, smart, curious and ambitious community of specialists in technology-driven transformation. We work with ambitious clients to help them solve their biggest business and customer challenges. We help our clients to innovate and create intelligent digital products and services.
We thrive on complex challenges and deliver business-critical IT transformation projects, moving seamlessly from strategy, design and delivery to operations. This is a Hybrid role, offering the flexibility to balance your professional and personal life, with 2 days a week spent connecting with colleagues in our London office. The Role Are you a Lead Product Designer ready to make a significant impact by translating complex problems into clear, usable, and inclusive digital solutions? In this role, you’ll shape complex problems into clear, inclusive digital experiences.
You’ll own end-to-end design, influence product and design strategy, and help evolve our design systems—working closely with clients, senior stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams. You’ll also mentor designers and champion best practice, making a visible impact across major projects. Key aspects of the role include Drive Design Excellence: Lead interaction design and define visual directions that align with strategic brand visions.
Champion Inclusive Design: Lead accessibility audits and define custom requirements to ensure our products work for everyone. Strategic Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, leading workshops and shaping project visions from the top down. Scaling Systems: Maintain and evolve comprehensive design systems to ensure consistency and efficiency across platforms. Collaborate & Mentor: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and "bringing others with you".
Data-Driven Iteration: Use analytics, research, and A/B testing to refine designs and improve user experiences. Research shows that underrepresented groups tend to only apply for roles that they believe they meet 100% of the criteria for. At Waracle, we want to buck that trend! We hire for passion, potential and mindset as much as credentials. If you think you'd be incredible in the role, then apply - even if you don't think you tick every box.
