Job Ref ID: JR0085366 YOUR MISSION Glovo launched Glovo On-Demand in 2022, a B2B vertical empowering partners to power their own delivery channels using our world-class logistics network across 10+ countries. As On-demand Finance Lead, you will be the end-to-end owner of the vertical’s financial performance, operations, and growth strategy. Operating with high visibility and autonomy, you will steer P&L performance, architect automated Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, and partner with Product & Tech to build next-generation Fintech products that scale our business sustainably.
THE JOURNEY Financial Performance & P&L Ownership: Own and steer the end-to-end On-Demand P&L across revenue and cost levers. Build scenario models, evaluate expansion opportunities, and execute targeted cost-reduction initiatives (e.g., operational fee optimization). Financial Operations & O2C Architecture: Design and optimize scalable Order-to-Cash (O2C) workflows—ensuring timely, error-free partner invoicing and driving zero-debt operational targets alongside Financial Systems and GBS teams.
Fintech Product & AI Innovation: Partner directly with Product and Engineering to build On-Demand Fintech features, while identifying opportunities to automate financial workflows through modern AI and tooling. Commercial & Pricing Strategy: Collaborate with commercial teams to establish dynamic pricing strategies, define commercial guidelines, and support complex contract negotiations. Team Leadership: Act as day-to-day manager and coach for 2 Finance Analysts, driving execution, setting performance goals, and supporting their professional development.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE Experience & Background 5+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, Financial Operations, Commercial Finance, Strategy Consulting (e.g., MBB), or CFO-track roles within fast-paced tech or marketplace environments. Full P&L Ownership & Modeling: Proven track record managing P&L economics, unit economics, and driving structured cost-reduction or growth strategies. Proven Problem Solving: Ability to structure complex, ambiguous problems and arrive at data-driven solutions using hypothesis-led approaches.
Executive Presence & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with a track record of partnering with cross-functional leadership (Commercial, Ops, Product, GBS). Fluent English (written and spoken). Skills & Leadership Competencies Financial Operations Expertise: Background or solid familiarity with Order-to-Cash (O2C), invoicing systems, and finance operational processes. Data & SQL Fluency: Working knowledge of SQL (or strong desire to build hands-on querying skills) to extract insights, troubleshoot data discrepancies, and build models independently.
