About this role

Where we are today Live product: Our beta at is finished and running two platforms, one for investors and one for partners. Commercial traction: We have 20+ signed letters of intent (LOIs) from investors, NPL servicers, real estate agencies, legal and technology partners across Europe and the US. Pre-revenue, by design: We're a pre-revenue startup converting these LOIs into pilots and customers, so you'll build revenue and commercial analytics from the ground up.

Proprietary AI: We built a neuro-symbolic AI engine for EU and judicial auctions. It pairs machine learning with structured legal reasoning to turn complex court and auction documents into reliable, decision-ready data. Protected IP: We have an EPO patent pending and 2 intellectual property rights registered with the EUIPO (the EU Intellectual Property Office). Recognised innovation: We were awarded the EIC Pre-Accelerator Seal of Excellence and have won multiple technology innovation awards.

€1M in R&D grants secured in 2026: We won DIGIT and Eurostars funding. Next-stage R&D underway: We're in the application process for EIC Accelerator, EIC Pathfinder and DIGIT VALID . We're applying in consortia with international companies and FER (Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb), a leading technical university. Global team: 40 people from 15 countries. We're headquartered at ZICER (Zagreb Innovation Centre) in Zagreb, Croatia, with 30+ independent contractors across Europe and Asia.

Recent achievements: EU Seal of Excellence (May 2026) : awarded by the European Commission for our Horizon Europe proposal BRIDGE, recognised as a high-quality proposal under the EIC pre-accelerator (Widening) call. Eurostars-awarded consortium: grant contract signed in September 2025, and the work is underway. DIGIT grant awarded (2026): €496k to deliver our BRIDGE project over 24 months. Further funding in the pipeline: DIGIT Valid application submitted.

Bidsale launched in stealth (May 2025): our AI platform for European public real estate auctions. R&D partnerships: we collaborate with FER (University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing), its TakeLab text-analysis lab, and EDIH (European Digital Innovation Hub). About the role We're looking for an experienced Lead Data Analyst to own analytics and business intelligence across VendueTech . You'll work directly with leadership and cross-functional teams to turn data into insights people can act on.

That data includes platform usage, auction and property data, and outputs from our AI engine. Your work will shape product, growth and strategic decisions. Working on a part time basis, you'll be a hands on leader with a lot of autonomy. You'll start with high-impact analytical work while laying the foundations of a scalable analytics function. As the company grows, you'll have the chance to build and lead your own team.

Key responsibilities Analytics strategy and leadership Define analytics priorities, KPIs and reporting standards across the business. Turn business challenges into analytical initiatives that deliver measurable value. Help establish and scale the analytics function, including building and mentoring a team. Product and growth analytics Analyse user behaviour, engagement, retention, conversion and adoption across the investor and partner platforms.

Find ways to improve UX, product performance and customer journeys. Give Sales and Marketing insight into acquisition, funnels, campaign performance and expansion across European markets. Business, finance and operations analytics Analyse business and financial performance, including revenue, costs and operational efficiency. Support grant-funded R&D projects with reliable metrics, impact tracking and reporting. Find ways to optimise processes, improve resource allocation and support strategic decisions.

Business intelligence and data collaboration Build dashboards and reporting with SQL and Apache Superset. Set consistent reporting standards and make sure business metrics are reliable and easy to access. Work with Data Engineering and AI teams to improve data quality, availability and accessibility. AI-powered analytics and automation Use Claude and other AI tools to speed up analysis, reporting and SQL development. Automate repetitive analytical tasks and improve workflows.

Help teams adopt practical AI-powered approaches to analytics and decision-making. What we're looking for We're looking for someone who combines strong technical skills with business understanding, takes ownership, and does well in a fast-moving startup. Must-haves Strong SQL and hands-on experience with BI tools and data visualisation. Python for analytics and automation. Experience with product analytics platforms such as Mixpanel, PostHog or Google Analytics.

Solid understanding of product, business and growth metrics. A track record of turning complex data into actionable recommendations. Experience working independently with crossfunctional stakeholders and leadership. Strong analytical thinking, prioritisation and communication skills. A proactive approach to using AI tools to work faster and better. Nice-to-haves Experience building analytics capabilities or leading analytical teams.

Apache Superset, PostgreSQL, AWS. Financial modelling and cash-flow analysis. SaaS or marketplace analytics, sales funnels and marketing attribution. Experience with Claude and AI-assisted analytics workflows. Familiarity with data pipelines, data quality and LLM-powered workflows. Interest in real estate, legal-tech or EU-funded R&D environments. What success looks like In your first 90 days, you'll work with the leadership team to: Assess the current analytics setup, data availability and business priorities.

Set up an initial KPI framework and identify the highest-impact analytics opportunities. Deliver a prioritised set of dashboards and insights for key stakeholders. Find and help act on measurable opportunities in product experience, growth or operational efficiency. Introduce practical AI-assisted reporting and analytics workflows. Work with Data Engineering to improve access to reliable data. The goal is measurable business impact, not just reports and dashboards.
