Job Description : The Compliance Officer ensures that the organization adheres to all applicable laws and regulations, particularly with respect to anti-money laundering (AML) and other financial crimes prevention standards.
This role is critical in mitigating the risks associated with non-compliance and ensuring that the crypto exchange maintains a strong reputation. Key Responsibilities : Develop and implement the company’s compliance program, ensuring adherence to regulations. Monitor changes in regulatory and legal requirements affecting the business. Oversee the preparation of regulatory reports and filings. Conduct internal compliance audits and assessments.
Educate employees on compliance standards and best practices. Report non-compliance issues to senior management and regulatory bodies. Requirements : At least 5 years of experience in compliance, particularly in financial institutions or crypto exchanges. An undergraduate degree in law, finance, or a related field. Knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and risk management. Ability to effectively communicate compliance requirements to various stakeholders.
