The Land Data Scientist responsibilities include but are not limited to: Collaborate with employees in EQT’s Land Department (Division Order, Land Administration, Title, Owner Relations, Business Development, Land Acquisitions) to ensure alignment with data models, pipelines, governance and special projects including process improvement ideation and implementation. Coordinate with internal BI/IT teams where needed to understand and implement table and code changes.
Coordinate with EQT’s “STAQ” (Delivery) team where needed to prioritize and push changes to environments in Salesforce, data bricks, AI pipelines. Turn Claude Enterprise and related AI capabilities into measurable Land outcomes and adoption. Create a governed intake-to-delivery path for AI use cases across business functions. Translate business opportunities into practical AI designs working with internal IT and Land SMEs Lead complex analytics initiatives requiring advanced scripting and analytical methods.
Design, build, and maintain analytical solutions using SQL. Contribute across the full analytics lifecycle: discovery, design, development, validation, and refinement. Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, performance, maintainability, and alignment with standards. Support Land Department with advanced analytical needs including and beyond standard BI reporting. Apply advanced statistical and analytical techniques to solve complex business problems.
Clearly communicate insights, tradeoffs, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Stay current with emerging analytics technologies and assess applicability. Generate daily and weekly reports, charts, and visualizations to communicate data insights to stakeholders and management. Required Experience and Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Data Science, Information Science, Engineering or another closely related field.
