Key Account Manager – Industrial Energy Clients
About this role
Do you want to make a difference and help industrial companies navigate the energy transition? Vattenfall’s Business Sales Department offers a wide range of products in the energy field. We operate in a highly competitive and dynamic market, serving large corporate customers, partners, and resellers. Our ambition is to be number one for the customer. We are looking for a Key Account Manager to join our Industrial Production Clients team within Business Area Customers & Solutions.
This is an opportunity to strengthen Vattenfall’s position as the preferred energy partner for industrial customers in Denmark and across the Nordic region. Our customers operate in an increasingly complex environment where competitiveness, energy supply, commercial risk, and sustainability ambitions are closely connected. In this role, you will help customers navigate these challenges while building long-term partnerships that create value for both the customer and Vattenfall.
Vattenfall has established a strong position within the Industrial Production client segment in Sweden, Finland, and Denmark. As we continue to build an even stronger customer platform in Denmark, you will become an important part of our Nordic sales organization and contribute directly to its future growth. You will join a Nordic sales team of thirteen Key Account Managers across Sweden, Finland, and Denmark and report to the Sales Manager and Head of Industrial Production Clients Nordic.
Based in Copenhagen, you will work closely with colleagues across the region. The team has a collaborative, knowledge-sharing culture, supported by flexible working conditions that combine office collaboration with remote work when appropriate. Your role As Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing long-term, profitable business and strategic customer partnerships within the Nordic Industrial Production client segment.
You will work with prospects and customers to understand their operations, energy needs, market exposure, decision-making structures, and long-term priorities. From this insight, you will identify opportunities, offer relevant solutions, and negotiate contracts. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping prospects and customers navigate the energy transition, manage market risks, and achieve their sustainability ambitions, including reducing their environmental footprint.
