Junior Workday HCM Configuration Specialist
About this role
Workday Administration & Support · Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Workday HCM and related modules. · Configure and maintain Workday business processes, organizational structures, security roles, and system settings. · Manage system updates, enhancements, and feature releases. · Troubleshoot and resolve Workday-related issues in a timely manner. · Provide ongoing system support to HR, managers, and employees.
Configuration & Optimization · Configure and maintain: o Core HCM o Staffing Models o Job Profiles o Organizations o Positions o Supervisory Organizations o Compensation structures · Evaluate existing processes and recommend system improvements and automation opportunities. · Participate in Workday implementation, optimization, and transformation projects. Testing & Release Management · Review Workday biannual releases and assess business impact.
· Create and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) plans. · Coordinate deployment of system enhancements and new functionality. · Document configuration changes and testing results. Required Qualifications · Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. · 3+ years of experience supporting Workday HCM. · Hands-on experience with Workday configuration and business process management.
· Strong understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle management. · Experience creating custom reports, calculated fields, and dashboards. · Knowledge of Workday security configuration. · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. · Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
