Junior Technical Writer - Remote US or Remote Ireland

Malwarebytes is looking for.. A technical communicator to join our Support organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and communication skills, enjoys collaborating with other people and organizations, and can explain complex information in a clear and concise manner. *This will be a 100% remote position working closely with team members in Europe. If located in the US, would need to be able to work earlier hours to accommodate this time zone.

Compensation Ranges: CA Bay Area: $86 - 100K Region 2: $75 - $90K Region 3: $72 - $83K Ireland: €42 – 50K What You Will Do: Work with Malwarebytes product managers, engineers, and technical support agents to create product guides and self-help articles for our customers. Deliver high-quality documentation that is clear, concise, and technically accurate. Follow best practices to ensure documentation meets the standards for quality, graphics, format, and style.

Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify and create content to improve issue resolution and customer satisfaction. Contribute to a strong knowledge-sharing community within support. Work with support, engineering, and product management teams to gather data and information. Review documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, quality, and SEO optimization. Skills You'll Need to Have: Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field OR equivalent work experience.

0 - 3 years of experience in a technical communication role. Experience writing for SaaS, mobile, and desktop B2C companies or products. Knowledge of AI Self-starter who isn't afraid to ask for help and questions. Self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities; ability to work under pressure. Excellent editing, writing, and communication skills. Nice to Have Skills: Experience writing content for both home and business users, and Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android systems.

Knowledge of cybersecurity trends and topics. HTML and CSS skills. Search engine optimization experience. Comfortable creating clean, on-brand graphics and screenshots to support written documentation.
