Junior Project Designer

About this role

As a Project Designer, you will work closely with engineering, sales and operations teams from various European Doka organizations to develop safe, efficient and economically optimized formwork solutions. Your responsibilities will include: Designing formwork and shoring solutions for international construction projects. Developing technical drawings and 3D models preferably in Revit or other engineering tools. Analyzing project documentation and technical requirements.

Preparing material lists and technical project documentation. Performing engineering calculations and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and safety requirements. Optimizing designs in terms of costs, material quantities and equipment utilization. Supporting local Doka subsidiaries with technical expertise and engineering solutions. Participating in customer and internal project meetings. Maintaining accurate and complete project documentation.

Collaborating with international engineering teams and sharing best practices. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and the development of engineering standards within Doka. Junior Project Designer Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or similar. Up to 3 years of professional experience. Knowledge of AutoCAD. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good English communication skills. Passion for engineering and willingness to learn.

Technical Skills Preferred knowledge of: Revit Microsoft Office Suite Construction mechanics, statics and structural engineering principles Reading and interpreting structural and reinforcement drawings BIM environments and digital engineering tools Knowledge of Doka Formwork Systems is considered a strong advantage but is not mandatory.
