Junior IT Administrator, EMEA
About this role
ABOUT DASH0 Join Dash0 and help us define the future of observability. We are OpenTelemetry-native, building a delightful, simple, and AI-centric platform that eliminates vendor lock-in and meaningless toil. Shape a product that developers love—all with transparent pricing and cost-control built in. Dash0 is an OpenTelemetry-native observability platform growing fast, and the infrastructure that keeps our team operational needs to be as reliable as the product we build.
As our Junior IT Administrator, you'll own the full device and access lifecycle — from a new hire's first laptop to an employee's final offboarding — and build the systems that make it repeatable at scale. This role exists because we've outgrown ad-hoc IT. We need someone who takes genuine ownership: provisioning accounts, enforcing endpoint security, maintaining audit-ready records, and keeping our SaaS stack under control.
You'll work closely with our Head of Security and People Ops team, but the systems work is yours to run. It's a foundational role with real scope. The processes you put in place today will scale with the company for years. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Provision and de-provision accounts across our SaaS stack for every new hire and departure, keeping onboarding repeatable and offboarding complete. - Manage the full device lifecycle: hardware ordering, MDM enrollment, international logistics, maintenance, and responsible recycling at end-of-life.
- Enforce endpoint security policies, including disk encryption, activation lock, and device compliance checks, coordinating with our Head of Security to keep standards current. - Maintain accurate, audit-ready records of who has access to what — catching and resolving discrepancies in serial numbers, license counts, and access logs before they become compliance issues. - Execute end-to-end offboarding by revoking access across all systems, coordinating hardware retrieval, and ensuring nothing slips through.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts for IT services and hardware insurance, including invoice auditing and service forecasting. - Support employees across time zones with clear, prompt communication on IT issues, hardware needs, and access requests. WHAT YOU BRING - 0–2 years of experience in IT support, IT operations, systems administration, or a technical helpdesk role. - Hands-on comfort with device management tools and the Google Workspace admin console, including user and group management.
