Junior Calypso Developer

Location: Wrocław, Poland (On-site) Relocation: Candidates from anywhere in Poland are welcome, provided they are open to relocating. About the Opportunity We are looking for a Junior Calypso Developer who wants to build a career within Capital Markets technology and gain hands-on experience working on one of the most widely used trading and risk management platforms in the financial industry. You will join a newly established team responsible for supporting and enhancing a critical Calypso environment while learning from experienced consultants and developers.

This role is ideal for someone looking to combine a technical Java background with exposure to investment banking and financial markets. Additionally, there may be the possibility of future internalization with the client after a successful period in the role . Responsibilities Support development and maintenance activities within Calypso. Assist senior developers in implementing enhancements and fixes. Participate in testing and deployment activities.

Investigate and resolve technical issues under mentorship. Work with SQL databases and existing integrations. Learn Capital Markets processes and Calypso architecture. Requirements 1-3 years of professional experience in software development. 2 years of experience working with Java. SQL/database skills. Strong willingness to learn Calypso and Capital Markets technologies. Problem-solving mindset. Fluent English: C1. Nice to Have Exposure to financial systems or banking projects.

Knowledge of Oracle databases. Familiarity with Linux/Unix. Internship or academic projects related to financial technology What do we offer you?
