IT SPECIALIST (SYSADMIN/INFOSEC)

About this role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience utilizing advanced Linux systems administration, including the configuration and management of large-scale clustered environments or high-performance computing (HPC) architectures.

Experience demonstrating proficiency in scripting languages (such as Python, Bash, or C/C++) to automate administrative tasks and integrate complex software into operational systems. Experience in lifecycle management and system design to evaluate requirements and implement technical modifications. Furthermore, they must have practical, hands-on experience applying Information Assurance (IA) principles, including conducting vulnerability assessments, hardening systems, and supporting formal security accreditation processes.
