IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN/INFOSEC)

About this role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience managing Information Technology (IT) procurement activities, including coordinating and processing procurement requests for IT hardware, software, and services.

Experience coordinating execution of IT procurements command-wide, monitoring progress, and providing status reports to senior management. Experience coordinating financial aspects of IT procurements, including preparing budget estimates, facilitating funds transfers, and resolving funding issues in collaboration with funds administrators and the comptroller's office. Experience managing the preparation and submission of procurement requests, including annual maintenance contracts, and worked closely with technical Points of Contact (POCs) to ensure compliance with procurement approval processes.

Experience ensuring compliance with government procurement policies, including managing acquisition documentation, enforcing information security standards, and safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of IT systems through security policies and procedures.
