IT Specialist (INFOSEC)

About this role

To qualify for the position of IT Specialist (INFOSEC), at GS-2210-13, you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below. Basic Qualification for 2210 series: Please refer to the OPM IT Management Series 2210 Qualification Standard for the specific experience requirements for the GS-12 and above positions. AND Specialize Experience: For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service, which includes: Experience with evaluating new security authentication technologies, such as public key infrastructure certificates, secure cards and/or biometrics and utilizing physical security system platforms (such as, SIP, CCURE 9000 or AEGIS systems) for physical access control, intrusion detection, USAccess, PIV, PIV-I, C-Cure, and Business Intelligence Reporting Systems (BIRS).
