IT Specialist

About this role

In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE at the GG-12 level is defined as experience applying Information Technology (IT) principles, methods, and standards to provide technical support, troubleshoot and resolve IT issues, evaluate methods and procedures, and support the implementation, maintenance, and security of information systems and telecommunications equipment, including applying Communications Security (COMSEC) regulations, policies, and procedures to support secure communications equipment and systems.
