Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) applying joint operational planning, exercise, and information technology principles to develop communications planning products that support command and control readiness; 2) analyzing operational requirements, cybersecurity risks, and interoperability gaps to recommend capability, resource, or policy solutions; and 3) coordinating with military, interagency, and partner-nation stakeholders to integrate communications requirements into exercises, contingency plans, and senior leader briefings.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-13).
