Have at least one full year of specialized experience that is at least equivalent to work performed at the GS-07 grade level and your experience includes performing at least two of the tasks below as part of your regular duties. Specialized experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Qualifying experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing and coordinating inventory management and equipment accountability programs involving the acquisition, receipt, identification, utilization, inventory control, transfer, maintenance, and disposition of property and supplies; maintaining automated inventory and property records; 2) Conducting physical inventories; and ensuring assets are properly accounted for, protected, and used in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies; 3) Identifying weaknesses and potential problem areas; improving equipment visibility; and preparing reports, inventories, statistical analyses, and other data to support inventory management programs and management decisions; and 4) Providing technical guidance and advising management and staff on the interpretation and application of established property, supply, and inventory management policies and procedures.

B. Education: Have a Master's or equivalent graduate degree -or- two (2) full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.B. or J.D., if related. OR C. Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12.
