About this role

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 09/11/2026. Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-7 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-5. For a GS-9 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-7.

The grade may have been in any occupation but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade.

GS-7 Grade Requirements: To meet the minimum qualifications for this position at the GS-07 grade level, you must meet one of the following: EXPERIENCE: Must have one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade (GS-5) in the Federal Service that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is in or related to the work of the position to be filled.

Examples of Specialized experience include comprehensive knowledge of complex, standard, and non-standard inventory management, planning and lifecycle principles, concepts, and methodologies requiring the application of sound judgment and analysis to provide services and resolve problems associated with NX systems and processes. Ability to search for and analyze information. Understanding supply principles, lifecycle management, planning, property inventory and accounting methods to resolve issues and improve operations.

Broad knowledge of technical characteristics and uses of medical and non-medical devices. Knowledge of property classification and equipment specification data to accurately catalog a variety of non-expendable property acquired by the facility. Knowledge of ADP applications such as Financial Asset Package (FAP), Integrated Funds Distribution Control Point Activity (IFCAP), AEMS/MERS, SOARD/Maximo or similar NX inventory management systems.
