------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Join us as an Internal Audit Manager - Compliance and help scale Qonto's audit function as we grow toward one million SMEs served across Europe by 2028, in the context of our ongoing credit institution licensing process. As a senior member of our Internal Audit team — the organization's third line of defense — you will lead compliance-focused audit missions across our nine European markets (France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Serbia, Belgium, Portugal, Austria, Netherlands), operating under the IIA Global Internal Audit Standards and reporting to our Head of Internal Audit.

➡️ WHAT YOU'LL DO - Lead audit missions: Own compliance audit initiatives in collaboration with the internal audit team and external providers to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations; - Participate in centralised process audits: Contribute to Group-wide audit missions on centralised processes led from headquarters (fraud management, operational risk, etc.); - Coordinate internal and external auditors: Coordinate and oversee Qonto’s internal auditors and work closely with external firms brought in for specialist expertise where needed.

- Drive recommendation follow-up: Ensure timely implementation and monitoring of audit recommendations, escalating where needed; - Contribute to the risk-based audit plan: Support the Head of Internal Audit in the annual risk assessment on compliance topics, feeding into our multi-year, risk-based audit plan. ➡️ WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Internal audit expertise in banking: Solid experience in internal audit within banking or payment institutions, with a track record of leading audit missions (CIA certification a plus); - Compliance expertise: Strong knowledge of AML/CFT, sanctions screening, FATCA/CRS, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, and related regulatory frameworks for banking/payment institutions (ACAMS certification a strong plus); - Independent leadership: Comfortable working autonomously, leading missions, and managing relationships with external providers and senior stakeholders; - Clear communication: Skilled at conveying audit findings clearly, from operational staff to senior management and governance bodies; - Critically independent: Strong critical thinking to identify inefficiencies and discrepancies independently; confident in holding and defending your positions; - Languages and location: Fluent in English and French required; based in Paris or Milan.
