INTERDISCIPLINARY ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER/PHYSICAL SCIENTIST

FOR 0819 series only- Selective Placement Factor: I am a current registered Professional Engineer (PE) in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. NOTE: A copy of a wall certificate that does not have an expiration date will not serve to verify this requirement. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Implementing assessments to ensure environmental compliance with the Clean Water Act and recommend solutions to environmental issues; 2) Preparing official correspondence, point papers, reports, and environmental permits and related documentation in compliance with federal, state, and local laws associated with the Clean Water Act; 3) Leading or assisting others in managing, administering, and providing environmental support for the Clean Water Act Program and other environmental program areas; and 4) Interpreting and applying laws, regulations and standards applicable to the Clean Water Act and other environmental laws, regulations, and standards.
