About this role

To qualify for the Intelligence Operations Specialist position at the GS-14 grade level, you must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Minimum Qualifications Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume.

To qualify for this position at the GS-14 grade level, candidates must meet the following specialized experience by the closing date of this announcement. EXPERIENCE: Candidates must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) (obtained in either the public or private sectors). This experience must include all of the following: Applying knowledge of intelligence information acquisition and research methodologies to collect information of intelligence value; AND Identifying and disseminating raw information from various sources to support existing or emerging intelligence programs, analytic requirements, and approved collection plans; AND Planning and directing management of a regional collection effort from identifying the information need to delivering a fused intelligence product to the consumer; AND Producing, reviewing and releasing raw intelligence information reports that balance the needs of protecting sources and the integrity of the information, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules and Departmental regulations.
