Job Title: Inspection Engineer – Pressure Equipment Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Location: UK Field Based - Predominantly covering West Midlands, Cambridgeshire and Oxfordshire Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 16.30pm Salary: Competitive + Company Vehicle + Benefits Industry: This role supports customers across the fuel, oil & gas, tanker, and bulk liquid storage industries, making it ideal for candidates with experience in these sectors or similar industrial environments.
Are you an experienced engineer, inspector, surveyor, or technical specialist looking for a new challenge? Do you enjoy working across a variety of industrial environments, solving technical problems, and helping clients maintain safe and compliant operations? We're looking for an Inspection Engineer to join our growing Industrial Services team. In this field-based role, you'll carry out inspections of pressure equipment and associated systems across a diverse range of customer sites, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practice.
What You'll Be Doing Inspecting pressure equipment, pressure vessels, piping systems, safety devices, and related assets. Assessing equipment condition and producing clear technical reports and recommendations. Supporting customers with compliance, safety, and integrity requirements. Working independently across customer sites while maintaining the highest safety standards. Providing technical guidance to colleagues and customers when required.
Who We're Looking For We're keen to hear from candidates with experience in: Pressure equipment inspection or engineering Mechanical, maintenance, reliability, integrity, or process engineering Pressure vessels, boilers, steam systems, piping, or safety-critical equipment Petrochemical, oil & gas, chemicals, manufacturing, power generation, utilities, or other industrial environments Engineering surveying, NDT, asset integrity, statutory inspections, or compliance-focused roles You may currently be working as an: Inspection Engineer, Engineering Surveyor, Mechanical Engineer, Reliability Engineer, Integrity Engineer, Plant Inspector, Maintenance Engineer, NDT Inspector, Pressure Systems Engineer, Field Service Engineer, or Technical Inspector.
