About this role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12/13 grade level or pay band DS-05 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing current cyber practices and policies, while providing expert recommendations for improvements to streamline operations and focus on concise risk identification.

2) Incumbent will leverage technical knowledge to create highly automated tools and algorithms to consolidate, analyze, and generate focused data sets for application in risk assessments. 3) Over the study of emergent technology for cyber implications and design robust implementation strategies built on strong cybersecurity principles. 4) Developing and delivering clear cyber recommendations to all levels of personnel, from the technical execution layer to senior leadership while actively developing and participating in the execution of the command's overarching cyber strategy.

5) Information Assurance and Risk Management. 6) Leading in the execution of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process, including eMASS package development, artifact generation, and security control assessment. 7) Serving as the primary technical experts supporting the Information Assurance Officer (IAO) to achieve and maintain the Authority to Operate (ATO) for all systems. 8) Conducting in-depth vulnerability scans, analyze results, and craft effective mitigation strategies based on a technical understanding of exploits and system function.
