INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (CUSTOMER SUPPORT)
About this role
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying IT concepts, principles, methods, and practices sufficient to assist in planning and carrying out a wide variety of IT projects and assignments; 2) Installing, upgrading, and troubleshooting hardware and software components, as well ass assisting with the establishment and management of user accounts; 3) Training command personnel in IT systems hardware, software, applications, account requests, etc.; 4) Resolving end-user problems, correcting problematic trends and patterns, and meeting command-specific operational requirements within the terms of the overarching contract; and 5) Applying methods and practices for troubleshooting, recovering, adjusting, modifying, and improving IT support to assist in solving moderately complex problems and provide support in a manner that minimizes interruptions.
