Provide course descriptions as necessary. Specialized Experience Requirement: For the GS-12 grade level: Applicants must have one-year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-11. Qualifying specialized experience is defined as meeting three or more of the following: Interpreting and recommending enforcement of IT policies Standards, and guidelines; conducting analyses and recommending resolutions of complex issues affecting IT specialty areas Translating functional requirements into design specifications Assisting customers in installing applications and troubleshooting post-installation problems and /or Reviewing general business and functional requirements and recommending solutions AND Information Technology (IT) related experience must also demonstrate each of the nine competencies listed below: Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
