HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT & PLACEMENT)
About this role
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions, 0201 Series. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-7 Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-5, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience include knowledge of standard recruitment and placement principles and practices and of the occupational design of various types of positions to analyze position requirements and to decide upon and apply a standardized recruitment strategy.
Knowledge of the standard principles and practices of recruitment and placement to apply to issues and problems of limited scope and complexity. Knowledge of merit promotion and affirmative employment programs, plans, and techniques in order to effectively apply them. OR EDUCATION: Successfully completed 1 full year of graduate level education or have superior academic achievement. (NOTE: You must submit your transcripts.) OR COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A combination of specialized experience and graduate level education that has provided me with the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of this position.
