HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT & COMPENSATION)

About this role

GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience utilizing judgment, initiative, and resourcefulness to resolve intricate issues and problems. Experience interpreting and applying OPM, DOD, and DON regulations and policy.

Experience conducting formal or informal training to junior HR specialists, employees and management. Experience conducting research to prepare reports on a variety of subjects for internal and external use. GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying knowledge of Recruitment/Staffing/Compensation areas of responsibility, knowledge of special recruiting authorities and strategies. Experience providing advice and guidance on available recruitment strategies and practices. Experience researching and applying findings to provide solutions to a wide range of HR management functions. Experience providing knowledge of OPM qualification standards and pay setting regulations.
