HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY)

About this role

Military Grades: Enlisted SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Requires a thorough knowledge of military and civilian human resources management principles, policies, procedures, and regulatory guidance as applicable to Air National Guard operations. Applies technical knowledge to independently perform personnel actions including promotions, assignments, evaluations, and awards. Knowledge extends to program areas such as the Defense Travel System(DTS), deployment readiness, training, and personnel data systems.

The position requires a thorough knowledge of military and civilian human resources management principles, policies, procedures, and regulatory guidance as applicable to Air National Guard operations. The incumbent applies technical knowledge to independently perform personnel actions and provide guidance to lower-graded HR specialists. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
